Terms of Service
Effective date: May 26, 2026 · Last updated: May 26, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DocuVoice platform operated by DocuVoice Inc. (“DocuVoice,” “we,” “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use DocuVoice. If you use DocuVoice on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at security@docuvoice.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.
3. Your Content
You retain all rights to the documents you upload and the conversations you create (“Your Content”). By uploading content, you grant DocuVoice a limited license to process, index, and store it solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and will not use it to train models or for any purpose beyond delivering the service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Use DocuVoice to generate or distribute harmful, illegal, or deceptive content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or probe the service for vulnerabilities
- Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
- Resell or redistribute the service without written permission
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Pricing and Payment
Free-tier usage is available at no cost within the published limits. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices may change with 30 days’ notice. If you cancel a paid plan, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are issued at our discretion.
6. AI-Generated Answers
DocuVoice uses AI models to analyze documents and generate answers. While we cite source pages and strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying answers before relying on them for legal, financial, medical, or other consequential decisions. DocuVoice is a productivity tool, not professional advice.
7. Availability and Support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible. Support is provided via email; paid plans receive priority response times as described on the pricing page.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocuVoice’s total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DocuVoice and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. You can delete your account from the settings page. Upon termination, your data is purged according to our Privacy Policy. Sections 3, 6, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
